Build Health International and Partners In Health Sierra Leone

Project Description

Build Health International is partnering with Partners In Health Sierra Leone to construct the Dorma Distribution Center in Koidu, Sierra Leone. This 38,880 square-foot warehouse, complete with a front-facing loading dock for storage of materials, consumables, and pharmaceuticals, will improve storage and logistics for essential medical supplies which will strengthen healthcare services in the region. BHI has overseen construction administration and management, from preparing the site to overseeing the building’s completion. Additionally, BHI is tracking supply chain and material delivery , coordinating the construction team, and making sure the project meets quality and safety standards. Once complete, the warehouse will provide a secure and efficient space for storing medical equipment and supplies.

The center will support the ongoing efforts to improve healthcare access and reflects their shared commitment to building sustainable, high-quality infrastructure that strengthens health systems in Sierra Leone.
