Build Health International and the Global Fund
Project Description
Electricity is often unreliable and unstable in most complex settings. To overcome challenges related to power supply, Build Health International provided the design and built a prototype for solarized container solution to for rural health facilities to support the Global Fund’s investment in strengthening digital health and enabling integration of patient-centered care and data use.
The container measures 20 feet and includes a photovoltaic array of 24 solar panels with a total kWp rating between 13.2kWp and 16.08kWp and connectivity system.
Designed to scale, the solution aims to balance the requirements of uninterrupted power generation, internet connectivity, ease of transportation and installation, and ongoing maintenance requirements.
