On February 5, the Autodesk Foundation published a case study featuring Build Health International’s work with data capture. The article, titled “How Build Health International Is Improving Patient Access to Healthcare,” examines the leveraged of Autodesk Construction Cloud technology when applied to designing and building healthcare infrastructure.

While BHI project engineers have utilized other Autodesk tools in the past, including its Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud represents an investment to scale up BHI’s project impact to integrate advanced data collection with workflows. Better yet, communication with partners has become more streamlined thanks to the comprehensive utility of Autodesk Construction Cloud.

“Our architects are constantly communicating with the doctors and nurses to obtain feedback so we can design the right facility for that specific community’s needs and resources,” says Fatlum Troshani, Project Engineer at BHI. “We’ve seen situations where beautiful facilities are designed and then go unused or are used differently than intended.”
